Sziget II Industrial Park – Office Buildings

Thanks to our previous years of dedicated work, we managed to win the general contracting of this year’s office fit-outs in the Prologis Sziget II Industrial Park through a strong tendering process.

Since July, we have been handing over offices at a rapid pace in two adjacent buildings, tailored to the needs of two different tenants, under the project management of our Client.

The total office area to be built is 2,200 m², located in various parts of the industrial halls. Some of the projects involve fit-out finishing works, but the larger part—1,400 m² of office space—is being completed from foundation through full structural construction to final fit-out, including the associated parking and landscaping. Each month sees a project handover, making the past months extremely intense. We have been able to keep up with the high volume and pace of the assignment through a quick and successful expansion of our team.

As we approach the final stretch of the largest office project—the DSV Headoffice—we will begin the new year by completing and handing over the work to the best of our ability within the first two months. We celebrated reaching the shell and core stage of this office block together with our Client and the Tenant’s team members in a standing reception. After our Client’s opening speech, everyone signed a steel project plaque that will be mounted on a reinforced concrete pillar in the hall before the handover, preserving the names of the current team members. All participants could also “register” for a paper airplane throwing contest by signing their name, which was a great success. At the end of the event, we planted one of the shrubs that will be part of the future garden together.
